A simple, portable, inexpensive, and versatile tool, the Magic Circle facilitates exercise performance, recruits key musculature for functional activities, and helps correct posture and alignment. The Magic Circle, also known as a Pilates Ring, has applications ranging from core stabilization to incontinence to scapular stabilization to joint arthroplasty rehabilitation. It is applicable for 1:1 direct contact plus individualized therapeutic exercises can be transitioned to a home program utilizing an affordable Magic Circle. What more could anyone ask for?

In this workshop, we will present Magic Circle applications in sitting, standing, and mat exercises for:

• Core facilitation including abdominal bracing and multifidus recruitment
• Balance training
• Upper quadrant strengthening and scapular stabilization
• Targeting individual and combination lower extremity muscles

Enhance your clinical expertise with:

• At least 3-5 cues for each concept that corrects and maximizes your patient's use of the Magic Circle
• Techniques that reduce or eliminate gait deviations
• Applications of PNF overflow/irradiation for optimal subjective and objective results

And receive our "Magic Circle Top 10" illustrated, written home exercise program that you can individualize for your patient!

Objectives

By the completion of the course the participant will be able to:

1. Provide 1 verbal, 1 visual, and 1 tactile cue for 3 therapeutic exercises using the Magic Circle.
2. Perform 2 functional measurements of posture and balance to assess improvement after using the Magic Circle.
3. Apply 3 of the "Magic Circle Top 10" therapeutic exercises to a patient example.

This gives you the opportunity to preview, download or print, save, and refer back to the information at any time. If you do not receive your CE material please contact us before the day of the course or workshop.

Cancellations:
Registration fee, less a $50 administration fee per session, is refunded if notice of cancellation is received more than 10 days in advance of the CE event. Cancellations made less than 10 days in advance of the CE event date forfeit the entire tuition fee. Tuition can be transferred to another individual or another CE event, one time only. No transfer, refund or credit will be given for cancellation 3 days or less before the CE event, or when handouts or other CE event materials are available electronically, including but not limited to emailed or downloadable pdf documents.
All unapplied transfers and credits will expire September 26, 2026.

Rehab Connections reserves the right to cancel the CE event up to one week prior to the CE event. Rehab Connections will not be responsible for any charges incurred by the registrant due to the cancellation of the CE event, other than the CE event tuition.
