High Performance Exercises:
Bridging the gap between therabands and patients' returning to their sport/occupation

Presented by Rehab Connections

Description

Your patient, a manual laborer, has less shoulder pain and can do shoulder external and internal rotation with a blue band and mastered the YTWI exercises…so what’s next?

How do you set the stage and build the steps for not just getting him back to his job, but also making sure he’s better than he was before he left?

How about a high school soccer star who’s been recovering from an ankle injury. She’s doing some SLB, curling marbles with her toes, performing heel raises, etc.

What are the next exercise progressions to not only normalize neuromuscular control and mobility in LE, but also leaves her prepared to deal with running, cutting, and deceleration forces, and has her feeling mentally prepared to return?
