Description

This one-day course explores the complex mystery of the pelvis. This course engages the participant to consider the various mechanical contributions to stability & mobility of this system and its impact on the hips and lumbar spine. Pelvic dysfunction can lead to changes in weight bearing capacity, alterations in the nervous system and muscle tension, and a variety of other conditions including trochanteric bursitis, piriformis and IT band syndrome, hamstring and groin strains, and low back pain. A brief lecture and extensive lab will provide the clinician with the knowledge to incorporate a variety of assessment & treatment strategies to uncover and resolve mechanical impairments of this complex system.
