Principles of Pilates for Rehab Professionals

Presented by Rehab Connections

Description

The core stabilization “powerhouse” principles of Joseph Pilates can be integral to our practice of physical therapy as we address posture, muscle performance, and motor control with our patients. This course was developed specifically for clinicians in a variety of rehabilitation settings with the objective to expand on their current knowledge base and apply Pilates exercises to the specific needs of their patients.

Short lecture segments highlight principles of the Pilates Method that have immediate application to patient care, and multiple lab/ exercise sessions provide you with the opportunity to experience Pilates mat exercises, props, cues, and modifications that will help a variety of patients.
