Description
As popularity of the Wii system continues to grow, so
does its utilization in numerous rehab settings. This new
one-day course will address opportunities using new
Wii-based softwares and reinforce appropriate application
and progression of video game technology as a
therapeutic, skilled intervention.
This is an intermediate level course so proficiency with
Wii Fit, experience with Wii Fit Plus, and/or completion
of our original Wii-hab course is recommended.

- Therapeutic exercises and therapeutic activities using 20+ new games on Wii Fit Plus
- Application and progression of Wii Fit Plus and Wii Sports Resort activities
- New games/exercises that are beneficial for hand-eye coordination, UE endurance, task sequencing, cognitive function such as math calculations, balance, reciprocal LE movement for gait, body awareness, and more
- Selection of Body Tests to demonstrate functional improvement as a result of using Wii video game-based therapeutic interventions
- Efficiencies, sequences, and advanced exercises that will enhance your treatment flow
- Modifications of 10 games/exercises for patients in sitting
- Applications for group therapy
- Creating and managing individual Mii's for your patients
- Translating improvements in performance with the Wii to functional, goal-oriented outcomes
- Pearls for appropriate and reimbursable documentation, coding and billing including manual contacts, verbal cues, and modifications for specific impairments that will demonstrate skilled intervention

Cancellations:
Registration fee, less a $50 administration fee per
session, is refunded if notice of cancellation is received
more than 10 days in advance of the CE event. Cancellations made less than 10 days in advance
of the CE event date forfeit the entire tuition fee. Tuition can be transferred to another
individual or another CE event, one time only. No transfer, refund or credit will be given for
cancellation 3 days or less before the CE event, or when handouts or other CE event materials are available electronically,
including but not limited to emailed or downloadable pdf documents.
All unapplied transfers and credits
will expire September 26, 2026.
Rehab Connections reserves the right to cancel the CE event
up to one week prior to the CE event. Rehab Connections will
not be responsible for any charges incurred by the
registrant due to the cancellation of the CE event, other
than the CE event tuition.
